Not Trade Instructions
Hou5eMoney is a place to learn how to find, read and structure a trade. It does not send trade instructions, it does not tell you what to buy or sell, and it is not an automated trading system. It is not sold as any of those. There is no trading bot on this site and nothing here places a trade for you.
The trade ideas on the boards are produced by the desk’s rules for reading trend, exhaustion and money flow in public market data. They are published to everyone at the same time as worked examples of that reading. An idea appearing on a board, in a notification, in an email or on the track record is not an instruction to trade it, and you should not take an idea simply because it printed.
You are expected to do your own homework before every trade: look at the chart yourself, confirm the live price and the option chain with your own broker, and decide whether the trade fits your own plan, account size and tolerance for loss. The decision to place, size, hold or close any trade is yours alone. We encourage you to practice with paper (simulated) money until you can explain every trade you take.
Risk Disclosure
Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every person. You can lose some or all of your capital, and in certain strategies you can lose more than your initial investment. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Options trading entails significant risk and is not appropriate for all investors. Options transactions are often complex and may involve the potential of losing the entire investment in a relatively short period of time. Certain complex options strategies carry additional risk, including the potential for losses that may exceed the original investment amount. Spreads and multi-leg strategies also carry assignment, early-exercise and liquidity risk, and involve multiple commissions. Any results, scoreboards, win rates, percentages or trade outcomes displayed anywhere on this site — including on the public home page — are hypothetical or simulated. They are derived from rules applied to historical or delayed market data, not from an actual trading account.
Simulated and hypothetical performance results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading and may not reflect the impact of commissions, fees, slippage, spreads, partial fills, liquidity constraints, interest, taxes, or the emotional and financial pressures of trading real money. They are frequently prepared with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Paper-trading results are not a prediction of real-money results.
Paper (Simulated) Trading
The paper account on this site is provided for educational purposes only and allows you to place simulated trades with hypothetical funds against delayed market data.
Order fills, prices, transaction costs and every other element of a paper trade are simulations. They do not reflect actual executions and cannot account for real-world market liquidity, order queue position, partial fills, slippage, commissions, fees, borrow availability, assignment, or the emotional and financial pressure of trading real money. Simulated performance does not ensure success in a live environment.
Successful paper trading over one period does not guarantee successful investing of actual funds in a later period. Market conditions change continuously, and a system that worked in one regime may fail in the next.
Connecting A Brokerage Account
This site offers an optional feature that lets you connect your own brokerage account (for example tastytrade, Charles Schwab or Tradier) through that broker’s own sign-in, so that the quotes, option chains and positions shown to you on the Desk are your own and in real time. This feature is entirely at your election, is not required to use the site, and is gated behind a separate consent screen that you must affirmatively accept.
What we do not do: we never take custody or possession of your funds or securities; we do not act as your broker; we do not manage your account; we do not exercise discretion over your account; and we never receive or store your brokerage username or password — you authenticate directly with your broker on the broker’s own pages.
This site never places an order for you. Every trade on this site is a paper trade in a simulated account. When you choose My broker on a ticket, the site copies the ticket’s details to your clipboard and opens your broker’s site or app; any real order is entered, reviewed and confirmed by you, in your account, under your broker’s own agreements, margin rules and disclosures. Details copied from a card may be stale; prices and option chains change continuously. You are solely responsible for every order you place and for its consequences.
You may revoke the connection at any time from your broker or from your account settings on this site.
No investor protection attaches to Hou5eMoney. We are not a member of FINRA or SIPC, we are not an FDIC-insured institution, and we hold no customer assets, so no SIPC, FDIC or equivalent protection applies to anything on this site. Whatever protection you have comes from your own broker, under your agreements with them.
Data
Market data shown on this site comes from multiple third-party sources, is refreshed on a schedule (not tick-by-tick), may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or wrong, and is provided as-is with no warranty of accuracy, timeliness or completeness. Intraday volume in particular may reflect only a subset of total market volume depending on the data source. Congressional disclosure data reflects STOCK Act filings, which lag the actual trades by up to 45 days. Always confirm prices and data with your broker before acting.

Privacy
What we collect: the email address you give us so we can send you access and occasional updates; standard anonymous usage data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type); and, if you choose to connect a brokerage, the authorization token your broker issues so we can show you your own quotes, chains and positions. We never see your broker password and we never submit an order.
What we never receive: your brokerage username or password, and custody of your funds or securities. Payments are handled by Whop, our payment and membership provider — card details are entered on Whop’s systems and we never see or store them.
What we don’t do: we don’t sell your data and we don’t share your email with third parties for their own marketing.
What stays on your device: your watchlist, journal entries, chart drawings, streaks and preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data will erase them.
You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message, and you can request deletion of your account data by emailing us.
